AEM Outgrows Existing Premises
Open Day 2007 Now on Hold

Due to exceptional growth within the company, we are nearing the limit of our capabilities in our humble Thebarton premises.

A move to a larger premises will likely occur towards the end of 2007, along with a possible name change to reflect our diversifying range of services and products.

As a precautionary move, the AEM Open Day has been put on hold until plans are finalised. This will also obviously disrupt/delay the installation of our new pump test bench.

New Product - Raptor
Submersible Mine Dewatering Pump
Raptor Mine Dewatering Pumps

As Australian pump users, we are sometimes disadvantaged by our minimal demand for and usage of imported product. The result is that our request for product design changes may not be actioned because our percentage of market share is insignificant. Consequently, we must keep using the product we are given even though it may not necessarily suit the conditions.

This is why PumpEng have developed the 'Raptor' series of mine dewatering pumps - Made by Australians to suit Australian mining conditions.

Designed in consultation with the Australian Mining Industry, the Raptor solves many problems commonly experienced when using imported pumps in the harsh conditions of underground Australian mines.

The Raptor's design features include:

  • Patented shimless diffuser, adjusted via externally adjustable diffuser nuts
  • Super abrasive resistant polyurethane
  • Patented impeller with rear pump-out vanes & replaceable neck bush
  • Tapered seal cavity to keep solids & grit away from seal faces
  • Dual mechanical seals
  • Specialty materials available
  • Maintenance friendly rotor, easily replaceable shaft & shaft sleeve
  • Heavy duty strainer with external reinforcing bars
  • Side entry lid to prevent cable damage when lifting
  • Maintenance reporting via in-built data recorders.
Special: 8kW Raptor
